Mrs. Andrea Murcia specializes in economic, financial and institutional analysis of the water and energy sectors. In Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, and the Caribbean, she has assessed the financial performance and operating efficiency of utilities and developed strategies to improve their performance. Her prior work experience includes the World Bank and the National Planning Department in Colombia.
Mrs. Murcia earned a Master’s degree in International Development Policy from Georgetown University, a Master’s degree in Environmental Economics and Natural Resources, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, both from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.
