K&M’s Owner’s Engineer services are helping SEPCO produce up to 50% more electricity from the same fuel it is already using.
Since January 2015, K&M has been providing Owner’s Engineer services to the Jordanian Samra Electric Power Company (SEPCO) for the construction of a 70 MW steam cycle and heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) to convert the Samra Phase IV 143 MW simple cycle gas-fired power station into a combined cycle system.
Owner’s Engineer services to SEPCO have included developing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) tender documents, organizing competitive bidding, assisting with EPC contract negotiations, reviewing detailed designs and supervising the construction of the heat recovery steam generator.
With the support of a highly qualified team of K&M engineers, construction of the plant has been completed successfully.
It has been K&M’s pleasure to work with SEPCO for the past decade developing projects that provide energy solutions to meet the reliability, efficiency, and affordability needs of their customers.
